Improvement of state support for agricultural enterprises

ANNOTATION

The aim of the article is to argue reasonable amount and forms of state support for agricultural enterprises. The work presents main fundamentals of the methodology of assess level of agriculture state support, applied by the Organization of Economic Cooperation and Development. The article makes review of scientific results of some scientists in the defined field.

The author of the article estimates level of state financial support for agriculture in Ukraine and makes con-clusion about its insufficient level, as compared both to the member-countries of the EU and economic possibil-ities. It is determined that not only permanent lack of costs in the state budget, but all comprehensions of regu-larities of economic development by governmental structures, form the principal reason of such situation.

The research presents definite calculations of the required amount of state support for agricultural enterprises in USD and its distribution among the branches and directions of rural territory development. Principal forms of direct support include payments per one hectare of land and payments per one head of livestock and poul-try. The article specifies indicators of support, which supply raise of profitability level in crop production and animal breeding, and give confidence for entrepreneurs that the state is interested in the results of their work.

The article argues the necessity to regulate amount of financial support and makes conclusion that it is re-quired to apply such approaches in development of a state budget in the future.
