It is proved that rise of economic efficiency by means of increase of size of a pig-raising farm is supported both by decrease of cost price for products and by rise of the average price for its sale. The investigation determines considerable variation in dynamics of indicators of volume and efficiency of pork production at some enterprises and makes conclusion as to intensification of mo-nopolization and rise of competition in pig raising branch. Large pig-raising complexes take leading positions among the producers of raw material for meat processing enterprises.
