Regulation of inflation processes: theory and practice

ANNOTATION

The article is devoted to the study of ways to regulate inflation process and analysis of the theories, making base for them. Special attention is paid to the essence of inflation and efficiency of money reforms. The work deter-mines characteristics of current inflation, demonstrating the following peculiarities: previous inflation had local character, while the current one is total and absolute; previously it took certain period, i.e. had periodical char-acter, while nowadays it is a chronic one. Current inflation is influenced by many factors. Modern market eco-nomics distinguishes monetary and non-monetary factors of inflation. In the opinion of practical economists, inflation is mainly caused by the factors of monetary policy and has monistic character, i.e. is determined by a single reason. As a rule, multi-factor concepts of inflation do not have a single methodological basis and are usually grounded on different assumptions. The research proposes ways to cope with inflation. The methods of adjusting of inflationary process and theory are investigational on that they are based. Attention is accented on essence of inflation and efficiency of money reforms. The ways of overcoming of inflation are offered.
