Efficiency of berry cultures growing and of its products processing by freezing

ANNOTATION

The article presents the main results of research on the problem of development of berry growing product production on the example of the "Agro Frutika Byshkiv" Ltd. in Zhovkva district, Lviv region. The main theoretical and methodical aspects of the study of the production efficiency of berry growing and determination of its level are considered. The estimation of the level and efficiency of the operation of "Agro Frutika Byshkiv" Ltd. in Zhovkva district of Lviv region, which specializes in the cultivation of berry crops for their industrial processing by freezing, is given. The analysis makes it possible to establish that during the investigated period the level of production efficiency of berry crops growing at "Agro Frutika Byshkiv" Ltd. in Zhovkva district of Lviv region has a weakly pronounced tendency to increase, if we talk only about the economic parameters of this efficiency. The level of merchantability of the main berry crops in this economy - strawberries and strawberries - is gradually decreasing, the share of cultivation of this crop, which is selling outside of the enterprise, is reduced, and the share of products remaining on the farm itself increases. Having its own retail outlets, the investigated enterprise may receive a higher price from the retailing sale. The factors, that influence them, are determined, their priority is formed and the main ways to increase this efficiency substantiated, among which the main attention is paid to breeding work in the field of berry growing improving, the specialization and sizes of product markets optimizing and introducing of modern foreign experience, development of cooperation processes in production of berry crops growing products and its processing . In the course of the conducted researches it was possible to completely verify and confirm the preconceived and reflected in the introduction to this article the working hypothesis, that further development of the field of production of berry crops growing products at "Agro Frutika Byshkiv" Ltd. in Zhovkva district of Lviv region should be continued in close cooperation with the enterprise Gallfrost, which specializes in the processing of cultivated products through its freezing, while the development of economic relations in this tandem should be on cooperative principles and the berry industry needs constant monitoring of demand in the market of berry growing products and the corresponding sufficiently effective diversification of the directions of development of this industry for certain types of berries, depending on the actual structure of this demand.
