ANNOTATION

The aggravation of transformational contradictions in the organization of agricultural land use of various forms of ownership in Ukraine under the influence of globalization and integration processes actualized the need to form a new paradigm of social development, in which the task of achieving quantitative growth gives way to the task of ensuring sustainable ecological, social and economic development within the agro-industrial complex of the country. The article analyzes the consequences of structural restructuring of land relations and focuses on the state of use of agricultural land in Ukraine, taking into account social and economic, natural and especially environmental conditions in the process of land reform. One has assessed the use of agricultural lands and developed the proposals to formulate conditions for efficient, rational and environmentally friendly land use. The scientific novelty of the article is that, given the decentralization of land relations that are taking place in Ukraine in the process of land and administrative and territorial reforms, it is necessary to strike a balance between the authorized authorities and the subjects of land use at different hierarchical levels. One has developed and recommended scientific approaches for solving the current problem in the field of economics of nature management and one has proposed land protection and the ecological and economic principles of land management ensuring compliance with ecological norms in the use of agricultural lands.
