Formation of the innovative potential of agricultural enterprises

ANNOTATION

The innovative potential of the enterprise is considered as a set of resources (tangible and intangible), as well as the conditions that determine the possibilities of those resources usingto achieve the goals, associated with the innovative development of the enterprise. The article highlights components of the innovative potential of enterprises, which reflect some of its functions and types of involvedresources, particularly personnel, material, financial, organizational and managerial, information, andmarketing. It is noted that formation of the innovation potential of agricultural enterprises should take place at different organizational levels: individual enterprises (micro level), industry, region (meso level), national (macro level). At the level of enterprise, it is expedient to plan and implement a set of measures for formation of the innovation potential within the framework of implementation of a certain innovation project. The criteria according to which it is offered to carry out an estimation of separate components of the innovative potential of the agricultural enterprise are presented iin the work. Basing on the results of the analysis, a conclusion is made about the compliance of each of the components of the innovation potential of the enterprise with the task of implementing an innovation project. The basic measures which can be carried out by the agricultural enterprise for formation of its innovative potential are specified by the author. At the meso level, activities for the formation of the innovative potential of agricultural enterprises should be aimed at: coordination of the activities of scientific institutions, their cooperation with the agrarian business; development of the agricultural extension system; formation of innovative agricultural clusters; implementation of regional programs to support innovative development. At the macro level, they are the tasks, related to the financing of agricultural education and science, monitoring of innovation processes in agriculture, support of agricultural producers in the priority areas of their activities, the implementation of targeted programs of innovative development of agricultural production. The relevant measures should be considered within the framework of a single mechanism for formation and use of the innovative potential of the agricultural production system.
