The impossibility to estimate the full amount of losses, incurred by enterprises in a pandemic, is emphasized. It is established that uncertainty because of the pandemic has become unmanageable. It is impossible to apply quantitative indicators to it. It is emphasized that the mass protests of entrepreneurs do not affect the government's decision to tighten quarantine restrictions. It is noted that importance of obtaining accurate and complete information has a direct impact on the research results. It is noted that consequences of uncertainty are risks and crises. The dependence of uncertainty and risk in the presence of common variants of events is considered. The main factors influencing the overall stability of the enterprise in the market are highlighted. The set of levels of unstable environment is analyzed. The expediency of application of those methods at domestic agricultural enterprises is justified. The opportunities of diversification growth by enterprises are evaluated.
