ANNOTATION

The article gives practical recommendations for modernization of the state-building system in the context of nation development, national idea, civil society. The problem of a complex democratic transition to a politically organized and responsible society of a new quality, in which the level of business activity and political participation of citizens should increase, by ensuring their rights and freedoms, forming a new structure of social space and thus economic growth. A correlation has been established between the intra-system factors such as the level of corruption, the level of democracy and their impact on the level of social well-being and prosperity of the state. Such indicators, as the state of the economy, business, government, education, health care, social capital, ecology, security and personal freedom of citizens are chosen as a basis. Based on the use of the Cobb-Douglas function, it has been proven that indicators of the level of perception of corruption and the level of democracy have a positive effect on the nation prosperity

It is proposed to focus on the further development of state formation on the comprehensive and continuous improvement determinants of social well-being by improving the level and quality of life, creating conditions for social realization and development of people, which will include development of national idea, adherence to humanistic principles, creation and maintenance of positive social climate.

The Ukrainian intra-personal factor as a basis of formation the potential of our state is considered in the work. Therefore, the formation of qualitatively new, important determinants of social and political well-being requires appropriate public policy aimed at progressive improvement of living conditions, formation of public satisfaction with their own lives and establishment of the potential development of not only the state, but of each individual, on that basis.
