ANNOTATION

The work identifies peculiarities of the system of management at domestic agricultural holdings that are determined by the type of their association. The research justifies the necessity to define economic essence and to identify key characteristics of business processes of large-scale agricultural enterprises, as well as to specify features of managing business processes of large-scale agricultural enterprises. It is confirmed that the internal form of corporate relationship can support development of modern production, shape and increase potential of business entities, contribute to achievement of competitive advantages at the market, on one hand, and support the appropriate level of compromise of the founders’ economic interests, on the other hand. The authors substantiate essential characteristics and provide their personal interpretation of the category of “business processes of agricultural enterprises”. The authors’ opinion is characterized by the stress on biological transformations, which are components of the mechanism of creating the added value through the resource transformation, including under the natural factor’s impact. It is noted that within the developed business model, goals of the business processes of large-scale agricultural enterprises include economic, social and ecological effects. However, the principal feature of large-scale agricultural enterprises is revealed in the close relationship between industries, particularly production, processing, storage, transportation and sale. The work proves importance of large-scale agricultural enterprises for economic development of the country. It is noted that development of large-scale agricultural enterprises and their business processes happens under the laws of the modern corporate management, i.e. a complex economic and legal system consolidating norms of legislation, internal regulatory documents, multi-level structure of management and practice of economic activity. It is confirmed that coordination of the spatially distributed business processes requires organization of “the centers of management” (parent structures). The authors of the research propose a structural and processual scheme of managing business processes of large-scale agricultural enterprises which combines a system, situational and processual approaches, contrary to the management of functions, and makes management to be mainly focused on efficiency.
