ANNOTATION

This study explores the role of corporate social responsibility in fostering the sustainable development of companies through the adoption of environmentally friendly technologies, efficient resource utilization, and support for social initiatives. It has been demonstrated that, amid the challenges of the green economy, corporate social responsibility serves not only as a pathway to achieving economic objectives but also as a crucial component that enhances effective natural resource management, mitigates negative environmental impacts, and generates new competitive advantages. The principal categories of corporate social responsibility - namely economic, legal, ethical, and philanthropic dimensions - are thoroughly examined. The study outlines key principles of socially responsible business practices within the context of the green economy, grouped into categories of transparency, systematization, significance, and partnership. It emphasizes the practical application of these principles through the integration of sustainable development into corporate strategy, the adoption of innovative environmental technologies, responsible resource management, and collaboration with stakeholders. By adhering to these principles, companies can not only strengthen their competitive edge but also cultivate a positive reputation among consumers and investors. This favorable reputation facilitates access to investments and financial resources essential for implementing environmental innovations. The research indicates that social responsibility contributes to sustainable development by minimizing environmental impact, optimizing costs, and ensuring long-term business viability. Additionally, it identifies significant barriers to the implementation of socially responsible business practices, including high initial costs for environmental technologies, inadequate government support, and the absence of clear regulatory frameworks. Lastly, the analysis provides examples of successful corporate social responsibility initiatives in global companies, illustrating how economic performance can be harmoniously integrated with social and environmental responsibilities.
