ANNOTATION

An analysis of waste categories within Ukraine's agro-industrial complex was conducted to evaluate their resource potential as a raw material base for implementing innovative recycling technologies. This analysis demonstrates that recycling is a strategically important tool for achieving a balance between economic efficiency and environmental safety in production systems. By minimizing waste accumulation and reintegrating secondary resources into production processes, recycling plays a crucial role.

Several critical issues were identified regarding the operation of waste disposal facilities, including the unsystematic accumulation of waste and the continued use of landfills beyond their designated operational timelines. Additionally, there is a notable lack of effective management decisions regarding the closure of high-risk technogenic facilities. The absence of robust mechanisms for controlling and regulating waste management processes raises environmental risks and results in missed economic opportunities related to reintegrating waste into production cycles.

The analysis also evaluated the main types of waste in the agro-industrial sector and their potential for secondary use in forming closed production systems. It was shown that adopting recycling technologies can significantly reduce production costs, optimize waste disposal expenses, lower the prices of final products, and enhance their competitiveness in both domestic and foreign markets. Furthermore, it contributes to increased profitability for enterprises by generating additional value through related products, such as biogas, organic fertilizers, and feed additives. The importance of strategic management of production costs is emphasized as a key factor in establishing long-term economic sustainability for agro-industrial enterprises. Employing system analysis and multi-level cost control at various stages of the production process creates the conditions necessary for effective optimization of financial resources, enhances operational efficiency, and adopts the principles of a circular economy. Integrating recycling processes into the agricultural production management system will help reduce the environmental burden, improve environmental safety, and boost the competitiveness of domestic products in global markets.
